Chef TJ started cooking at home in New York. His interest was fueled by the desire to lead a healthier life. It's important to him to nurture his heath to sustain this life for many years to come.
TJ’s favorite thing thus far about being a chef is the never ending amount of information there is to learn. He throughly enjoys applying that knowledge to the creation of a dish & seeing others gather to enjoy the food. A meal brings people together, It feels good to be a small part of that. The simplicity of flavors and the focus on quality ingredients in Italian cuisine is something he believes in. “Who doesn't love pasta??”
Chef Luis first began cooking in his parents cafe at the age of 14, making simple but delicious home cooked Colombian meals. As an inspiring young cook, a Chef once told him, “anyone can cook a carrot, but not all can grow one”. This opened his eyes to the love and gratitude he had for local farmers and purveyors.
Luis’ favorite aspect about cooking is the ability to transport the individual to another world. “There’s no better feeling than taking someone to another Country by tasting your food”.
When he’s not in the kitchen whipping up his cinnamon roll recipe that he has been perfecting the past 5 years, rest assured he will be using his creativity elsewhere through painting & photography.
